About the Academy

Academy players being coached at the European Baseball League Tour

The Academy is designed to help young players turn the off-season into an opportunity to become better, stronger and fitter athletes.  This is a great time to make improvements in your game, and our excellent Academy staff will be on hand to help you do it.

The Academy is split into two elements, Academy Baseball and Academy Softball. Both consist of monthly National and Regional weekend training sessions from October to March each year. The tutorials and practice plans will allow young baseball and softball players to improve their hitting, pitching, fielding and baserunning.

The Academy is reliant on strong participation by our volunteer workforce.  Whether or not you have previous experience in the sport, we’d welcome your help and support.  To find out more, please visit the Get Involved page. If you’re willing to give us a hand, we’d love to hear from you.
